We offer personalised ABA education and live coaching sessions designed to equip caregivers with practical, evidence-based strategies.
Whether as a standalone service or alongside direct ABA therapy, these 60 to 90-minute sessions provide hands-on guidance tailored to your family's unique circumstances and goals.
-
Your BCBA conducts a comprehensive assessment to understand what drives your child's behaviour and identify their current skills. The resulting support plan outlines proactive strategies to prevent challenges, teaches age-appropriate replacement skills, and establishes consistent reinforcement techniques tailored to your child's unique interests and motivators. This living document evolves alongside your child's progress, ensuring that the skills developed in therapy transfer successfully to home, school, and community settings.
Following the initial consultation, your BCBA will schedule 2-3 assessment sessions to observe your child directly, ideally across multiple environments such as home, school, or community settings.
-
We bring expert care directly to you, with BCBA-led sessions in the comfort of your home, at your child's school, or in community settings where they learn and play.
Session length is tailored to your child's goals and attention span, typically ranging from 1.5 to 3 hours to optimise learning and engagement.
-
Practical, BCBA-led behaviour support for schools and daycare settings. From Functional Behaviour Assessments and tailored Behaviour Support Plans to staff training, we equip your team with the skills and tools to create a more inclusive environment.
-
We design supports around your child’s strengths, interests, and what your family values.
Therapy is led by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with 9+ years of ABA experience.
-
Our approach draws from scientifically validated methods, applied thoughtfully based on each child's individual needs and learning style.
Core Methods We Use:
Positive Reinforcement Building desired behaviours by celebrating success and progress with meaningful rewards.
Natural Environment Training (NET) Teaching skills during everyday activities and play to make learning feel organic and enjoyable.
Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Using structured, repeated teaching opportunities to help children master new skills through clear instruction and practice.
Functional Communication Training (FCT) Replacing challenging behaviours with effective ways to communicate wants and needs.
Verbal Behaviour (VB) Developing language skills by focusing on the purpose and function of communication.
Social Skills Training Teaching children how to navigate friendships, conversations, and social situations with confidence.
Pivotal Response Training (PRT) Targeting key developmental areas that unlock progress across multiple skill domains.
Differential Reinforcement Encouraging positive behaviours whilst reducing reliance on less helpful ones.
Task Analysis Breaking down complex skills into manageable, teachable steps for success.
Prompting and Fading Providing support when needed, then gradually reducing assistance to build independence.
-
Honouring consent means respecting your child's right to communicate "no" through their words, actions, or body language. We believe therapy should be a collaborative and respectful partnership, not a process based on compliance. Your child's comfort, autonomy, and voice are always prioritised, and we work within their boundaries to build trust and meaningful progress.
-
We follow your child's natural interests rather than imposing a rigid curriculum. If your child starts playing with toy cars, we use that moment to teach colours, counting, or requesting skills, building on what already captures their attention.
The reward is built into the activity itself. When your child asks for a ball, they receive it straight away, demonstrating that communication leads to real, meaningful outcomes. This approach makes learning feel like play, not work, whilst building skills that matter in everyday life.
-
Partnering with Caregivers You know your child best. In a collaborative approach, we don't simply "work on" your child in isolation. Instead, we coach you to use evidence-based strategies during everyday moments like mealtimes, outings to the park, and bedtime routines. This partnership ensures that progress extends far beyond therapy sessions and becomes woven into your family's daily life.
Coordinating with Support Teams ABA is most effective when it complements your child's other services. If a Speech-Language Pathologist introduces a new communication device, we integrate it into our sessions. When an Occupational Therapist shares sensory strategies, we incorporate those techniques to help your child stay regulated and engaged during learning. By working as part of a unified team, we ensure consistency and maximise your child's progress across all areas of development.
Our approach
Our Process
Free introduction
The session is a free 30–minute conversation, in person or via video, designed to give us both what we need to make an informed decision. You'll share your child's needs and goals; I'll outline my experience, my approach to ABA therapy, and how I work with families. There's no pressure and no commitment — just an honest conversation to see if working together makes sense.
Assessment
The assessment is a comprehensive process designed to build a complete, honest picture of your child before any therapy begins. You'll start by completing a detailed questionnaire covering your child's background, strengths, and areas of concern. I then conduct two to three direct observations and skills assessment sessions with your child across relevant settings. We close with a parent meeting to discuss findings, agree on realistic and meaningful goals, and determine the best approach moving forward.
Begin services
Therapy at Superbloom looks different for every family, because every child is different. Based on your assessment findings, we'll discuss two clear options: flexible direct therapy and parent coaching sessions with Jake scheduled around what's feasible for your family, or the Comprehensive Package — three or more sessions per week with parent coaching included. Whichever path we choose, you'll always know exactly what's happening and why.
Independence
Transitioning away from services, having mastered the essential skills needed to navigate their daily life and social world with confidence and independence.
